“In the context of the political dialogue and among the public, we can see that the desire to solve the Artsakh conflict increases”, said the UK Ambassador to the Republic of Armenia, Judith Farnworth during the debate on regional security issues organized by the “Caucasus” Institute.
She pointed out that the maintenance of the “Status Quo” is extremely costly to both sides. “We support the efforts of the OSCE Minsk Group to ensure security in the region”, the ambassador added.
The Swiss Ambassador to the Republic of Armenia, Lukas Gasser, in turn, pointed to the closure of the OSCE Office in Yerevan, “This fact is a precedent for the OSCE in that it may lose some opportunities”.
