The Republican Party of Armenia and Artsakh National Assembly are organizing “The third forum of Armenian parties”. It will take place in Artsakh.
The Vice President of the Republican Party of Armenia, Armen Ashotyan informed that 15 out of 17 invited parties have confirmed their participation. “Heritage” party, ORO unity, and “Yerkir Tsirani are not invited.
In response to the question, whether they have invited only the political parties that are pleasant for them, Armen Ashotyan said, that the fact that such a conference is going to be held in Artsakh is more important than the question whether Raffi Hovannisian will participate or not, “There are no pleasant or unpleasant parties and no pleasant or unpleasant politicians. We are engaged in this activity professionally. The doctor does not refuse to cure a patient who is unpleasant”.
He also mentioned that there are political unities in the Republic of Armenia, that also need to make a step forward, to understand all this and accept the culture, and not to make a source of newscast the fact that they have rejected the invitation of the RPA so that they can cooperate. “All that should have been left to the 90s, we failed to leave, at least we need to leave it to the 2000s, but not to discuss this at a political debate in 2017. You refused, so what? Did you remind about yourselves? OK. If there is no need of reminding anymore, remind about yourselves compared to the RPA”.
As the RPA justifies that “Yerkir Tsirani” is a new party that is why they have not invited them, anyway they are a member of Elders and represent some percentage of citizens’ votes in the City Hall, so, to the question, whether they have not invited “Yerkir Tsirani”, so that Zaruhi Postanjyan will not turn the conference into a hell, Armen Ashotyan answered, “”Yerkir Tsirani” has participated only in one municipal election and its operation has not reached to a state level yet. As for the hell, do not try to seek for an allegory, but there is such truth, all normal people are either afraid of hell or do not want to get there, they do not enjoy hell. If a person or a political power says that it will create a hell if it is ready to enjoy that hell, then something is wrong, there is a problem. You cannot create a hell for others and stay in paradise yourself because you will need to be there at least to heat the fire. Therefore, for enjoying a hell one, one needs to have such political position or to be a representative of evil powers. Who enjoys hell? Even the most sinful mortal man cannot enjoy it, and be glad to get there, and even more, to create a hell”.
