According to RPA speaker Eduard Sharmazanov, the new project of the Armenian government is a serious application, which includes the targets of the RA president’s speech at the first NA session on May 18.
After the RPA Executive Body session, Mr. Sharmazanov told journalists that the government offers a clear target of 5% annual economic growth in the new project. “It is proposed to set 25 percent as the target of the minimum salary growth within 5 years, as well as 12 percent decrease in unemployment. The government plans to increase the annual number of tourists visiting Armenia to 3 million”.
Mr. Sharmazanov also said that the anti-corruption reforms will have a key role in the government’s operation, “Great importance is given to security. We will continue to strengthen the security of the Republic of Armenia”.
According to him, the project will already be submitted to the National Assembly next week, and the Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan will report on performed activities, “I can say that the RPA and ARFD managed to present a realistic plan, with clearly selected targets”.
