“The positions of the Armenian side are not equalized to the Azerbaijani side. Let us notice that in the announcement the liberated territories are not considered “occupied” which is a positive result for us. I cannot say that this is due to the effort of the authorities of the Republic of Armenia. This is the consequence of the absurd work of the Azerbaijani authorities”: told the Member of the Parliament from “Yelq” bloc, the leader of “Republic” party Aram Sargsyan referring to the announcement summarizing the regional visit by the OSCE Minsk Group.
Asked what are the reasons and factors for Azerbaijan to go for local escalations on the border, Aram Sargsyan noted: “From economic situation to clan tensions… believe me, as much as it is difficult for the Republican Party of Armenia and Serzh Sargsyan to keep the authority for 10.000 AMD, for the President of dictatorial Azerbaijan Aliyev it is difficult alike, incomparably more difficult… They not only do not give that 10.000 AMD but also imprison the ones who want it. Let the RPA not regard this as an achievement and not compare with Azerbaijan, but this is the situation there – even banks are being closed… ”
