Aravot.am inquired its readers about their attitude toward the heralding institution which is envisaged in the framework of the law on a new “Anti-Corruption Commission”.
Respondents had four options: “too bad, since a herald is a “whistle blower”, which is not beseeming for Armenians”, “very good, finally people can freely unmask the corruption”, “I don’t believe anything will change”, “no heralding will help until the end of the regime”.
Only 6 percent of the respondents think that a herald is a “whistle blower”, and that it is not beseeming for Armenians. 24 percent do not believe that anything will change. 26 percent considers that finally people can freely unmask corruption. And the majority of the respondents, 44 percent, think that no heralding will help until the end of the regime.
