“I am a pioneer in that. I am for the existence of that commission and I have been one of those people who have voiced that we have a need of that today”: stated Member of Parliament from the Republican Party of Armenia faction – Mihran Poghosyan.
He was asked to express his opinion on whether he is for the creation of Corruption Prevention Commission and whether he does not have a concern that the Commission will reveal the inaccuracies within the bills of entry of the officials and they will not be able to register the part of their properties in their relatives’ name.
Asked whether he will be more honest in publicizing his property, taking into consideration the offshore scandal in which he was involved, Mihran Poghosyan replied: “I am more honest than you think.”
The journalists asked him to be even more honest and tell them how he had managed to get rich: “There is a thing called business management capability, which the 3% of world population possesses. I have worked since the age of 16 and have founded “Catherine” organization at 20, when I was a sophomore. A second-year student has started to produce bread, etc.”
