11 billion AMD has been provided to the Ministry of Agriculture to accomplish 2016 projects, informed Minister Ignati Arakelyan presenting report on 2016 budget execution.
Arayik Hovhannisyan from the Republican Party of Armenia asked whether the preferable loans given to the villagers were enough for everyone. The minister replied that they are not enough, they even hear the complaints of the villagers implying that they do not give a loan of over 300.000 AMD.
Member of the Parliament from “Yelq” bloc – Mane Tandilyan asked about the agricultural products of Azerbaijani origin or packaging. What volume of import has been recorded in 2016? What steps are undertaken? Minister answered he did not have data on 2016: “The Republic of Armenia should have its policy entailing from which country we have a right to import and from which country we do not have a right to import. If it is not ultimately ascertained, they can import legally, most importantly, it should be imported legally. If they import illegally, it is already another field.”
Mane Tandilyan concluded – so, we can state that we regularly use agricultural products of Azerbaijani origin. The minister replied: “In any case, according to the media, it appears so.”
