Jerzy Nowakowski, ‘What can we do?’

July 06,2017 15:34

In case of a “weapon dialogue”, we must be as moderate as possible. Since even a word may contain a serious threat: a threat not for the next meal of the ambassadors, but for ordinary people’s lives. Diplomats’ comments must be as moderate as possible”, Polish Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Armenia Jerzy Novakowski told journalists, answering the question on the resumption of active actions at the Karabakh-Azerbaijani contact-line.

Jerzy Novakowski referred to the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs, “They called for a peaceful discussion of the issue. What else can we say? The entire western world has highlighted, please find all solutions on the basis of peace”.

Let us remind, on July 4, the enemy continued to violate the ceasefire regime.

In order to suppress the enemy’s aggressive activity, the frontline military units of the Defence Army had to take action at 20: 31-20: 40, as a result of which damage was caused to the fire point located in the village of Alkhanlu. According to the reliable data provided by the DA special services, the enemy has suffered losses. As a result of Azerbaijan’s provocative actions, the Defence Army did not suffer losses.
