New members of the “Social Democrat Hunchakian Party”, including former members of recently self-dissolved “Hayazn” party, who joined the SDHP, were in the “Yerablur” military pantheon for their vowing ceremony.
Aravot.am asked Narek Galstyan, the Social Democrat Hunchakian Party (SDHP) Chairman, about the party’s activity in 2018, towards the end of the presidential term in April. “Our goal is to fight the existing vicious phenomena and try to improve the reality every day. This is the mission of the Social Democrat Hunchakian Party in the political field of Armenia”, said Narek Galstyan.
In response to the question, what the format of the political struggle would be, Narek Galstyan said, that the SDHK has never been an adventurous party. We also inquired about the Social Democrat Hunchakian Party’s (SDHP) opinion about the “velvet” revolution that was mentioned by Heritage leader Raffi Hovannisian in April. “At the moment we have no ideological commonality with him. We, as an opposition, think that we no longer have the right to abuse the patience of the Armenian people and to talk about things that are not realistic at the moment”, said Narek Galstyan.
