“Azerbaijan carries out a far-reaching new policy which holds the objective to recommence large-scale war operations”: told Koryun Nahapetyan, the President of the Permanent Committee on Defence and Security Affairs of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia. Referring to the latest escalations on the border, the speaker informed that it is not the first time they report that Azerbaijani Armed Forces hide behind the peaceful civil population, thereby showing that they are not concerned with the security of their population. He assures that Armenian sides will utilize all their capacities unifiedly.
Rough announcements were made in the Parliament of Azerbaijan on attacking Armenia. Asked whether Armenia should not make its position tougher, the MP answered: “We should not put a question of provoking a tension on the agenda. But it does not mean that our contradictions should constitute tougher announcements. Nevertheless, I think that the situation requires us to be more vigilant.”
