Tension growth has been noticed on Artsakh-Azerbaijan border from July 2 to 8. The adversary has violated the ceasefire regime for more than 300 times altogether, applying also mortars of 60, 82 and 120 calipers, ordnance and grenade launcher of D-44 type.
It is necessary to note as well that on July 4, Azerbaijani armed forces have applied also 120 mm D-30 howitzer and TR-107 type rocket launchers targeting Armenian residential areas of that direction for the first time since the military operations in April of the previous year.
Deploying the aforementioned rocket launchers nearby Alkhanli village, as usual, Azerbaijani military force has hidden behind the back of the peaceful population using the latter as a live shield thereby roughly violating the norms of international law.
Using its full right to defense, in order to extinguish the firing point deployed in the peaceful residential area nearby, the frontline military units of the Defense Army of Artsakh were forced to undertake response actions. The Defense Army continues to perform as the dictator of the situation along the whole borderline and to implement the military issue put in front of him confidently.
