In days “Yelq” bloc MP Sasun Grigoryan announced that parliamentary elections have not been legitimate, in essence, contradicting “Yelq”.
We noted that his faction does not consider that the elections have been illegitimate and when he says that the elections have been illegitimate, it means that actions should have followed his words which he has not done, he should have appealed against the results.
We told that a contradiction exists between what he and his fellow party members have said, and asked why he has not appealed, gone to the street if they were illegitimate. He replied: “That is, the matter of being or not being legitimate lies in going out into the street? One needs people to go out into the street and protest and that people went and gave that many votes to the Republican Party of Armenia. This is what legitimacy means. And we are not disappointed after all, we continue to struggle to make people conscious that we need to get out of this situation, to get rid of these authorities.”
