The transaction of tank, “Smerch” and Мста-С equipment delivery from Russia to Azerbaijan is implemented by 90%, Baku has paid for the armament and successfully applies them, announced the Minister of Defense of Azerbaijan, Zakir Hasanov, informs “RIA Novosti”.
Earlier, the Military Office of Azerbaijan had announced that another batch of military equipment and weaponry bought from Russia had reached Azerbaijan. The previous one had reached Azerbaijan in June.
The price of the transaction was not reported, however, pursuant to the media, it has amounted to approximately 5 billion dollars. “The agreement has been implemented practically by 90%. Small things have remained. Everything is in Azerbaijan since long ago and is successfully applied. It is modern weaponry which we use and apply”, tells the minister.
