Serzh Sargsyan about becoming a Prime Minister: ‘Is it important. It’s not, is it?’

July 17,2017 16:29

“I honestly have told for many times that I have not ever thought about my future career. I still think the same way now. There is still a great deal of time”, said Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan responding to the question about becoming Prime Minister in 2018 at “R-Evolution” TV program of Armenia TV.

Serzh Sargsyan noted, “There was a political process-elections-in our country. Our country already has a parliamentary government. The party that is a majority in the parliament, will nominate its candidate for prime minister. Of course, much depends on individuals, but Armenia has no self-centred power anymore. I think it is our people’s merit. Our people, I think, saw its positive impact after the elections, when for the first time in history, people did not gather and tell that they would start a revolution. This is what important”.
