Criminal proceedings have been instituted in Tavush Regional Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia on the adversary opening fire on Chinari village of Tavush province, destroying the property of the kindergarten and the village residents, damaging them, making an attempt of killing the juvenile on July 20.
In July 20, 2017, at 13:00-18:30, the Azerbaijani military points have opened fire on Chinari village, Tavush province, targeting peaceful residents.
In particular, they have opened fire on a juvenile born in 2000, the resident of that village, who was in the cemetery of the village at that time and who hid behind a stone for 2 hours to escape the bullets of the adversary.
For a long time, the village has been subject to gunshots, in the result of which the kindergarten, the houses of the villagers, their property and grass bales have suffered.
Pursuant to the initial data, the damage amounts to more than 12 million AMD.
On the cases 5 criminal proceedings have been instituted in Tavush Regional Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia: 1 has been instituted based on 34-104th Article, part 2, point 13 of RA Criminal Code, 3 of them – based on Article 185, part 2, points 1 and 4, and one on Article 185, part 3, point 1.
The investigation has been conducted in the place of the crime, a forensic expert has been appointed, the owners of the damaged and destroyed property have been recognized injured party.
