The application of the family of 12-years-old Vaghinak Grigoryan killed in Zoravan village of the Republic of Nagorno Karabakh because of Azerbaijani fire attack in April 2, 2016, is in preparation phase at the European Court of Human Rights: the applicant waits for the decision of the ECHR to start a proceeding, informs human rights activist, the First Human Rights Ombudman of the Republic of Armenia, Larisa Alaverdyan.
She informs that they are going to apply to the ECHR also on the case of 17-years-old Smbat Tsakanyan killed by Azerbaijani diversionists in Qarvachar in 2014, forasmuch as until now, the international organizations have not given a proper assessment to that crime.
The Ombudsman of the Republic of Armenia Arman Tatoyan referred to the fire attacks by the adversary conducted in the beginning of July, because of which a woman and a child were killed in Azerbaijani Alkhanlu village. Tatoyan expressed his concern that such cases may reoccur, inasmuch as Azerbaijan will start a provocation again: “They use any case to deepen the preachment of Armenopohobia and hostility against Armenians”.
