“I urge political swindlers to keep their hands off from Nzhdeh and not to engage Nzhdeh’s name in their doubtful group games and play with it”, tells the Vice-President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia Eduard Sharmazanov, referring to the criticisms addressed to him in days.
Let us remind you that the announcements of Eduard Sharmazanov on Armenia’s membership in the Collective Security Treaty Organization and the Eurasian Economic Union has no alternative found their criticisms in media and social networks. Moreover, Armenia’s membership to CSTO and EAEU stems from the national and state interests of the Republic of Armenia.
They blame Eduard Sharmazanov for protecting the interests of those organizations and being the encourager of Armenian-Russian relations which dishonors Nzhdeh’s memory.
The spokesman of the Parliament reassures his viewpoint, reminding that Garegin Nzhdeh has not opposed against Armenian-Russian relations but has been for developing those relations: “If my words are not sufficient, let me introduce you facts: you will read the following thought in Garegin Nzhdeh’s “Selection”, article entitled “Why was tseghakronist movement created?” (page 478): “The natural ally of tseghakron is the Russian people.”
He, therefore, urges his opponents: “Instead of speaking absurd things, bother yourself and read Nzhdeh.”
