One of Armenian tourists injured in Hurghada stabbing to return to Armenia tomorrow

One of the Armenian women wounded in a knife attack at an Egyptian Red Sea resort in Hurghada on July 14 is set to return to Armenia tomorrow, with her health condition assessed as satisfactory, a foreign ministry spokesman informed.

Speaking to Panorama.am, Armenian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Tigran Balayan added that the second Armenian tourist injured in the attack will continue to receive treatment at Nasser Institute Hospital in Cairo, adding that her sister left for Egypt to take care of her.

To remind, a 28-year-old Egyptian man stabbed two German tourists to death and wounded four others from Armenia, Russia and Czech Republic at a seafront hotel in the Egyptian Red Sea resort of Hurghada on July 14. The security measures have been tightened in Hurghada following the incident.
