Karen Karapetyan’s rating has dropped

Aram Navasardyan, director of the “MPZ” LLC, a full member of the Gallup International Association in Armenia, summarizing the results of their studies on the government’s and the Prime Minister’s work, stated, that Karen Karapetyan’s rating has dropped by about 10 percent. During the meeting with journalists, Mr. Navasardyan noted, that from July 5 to 15, 1104 face-to-face surveys were conducted in Yerevan and in the regions. Selection error is 3 percent.

According to the surveys, the ratings of all the parties have dropped. Aram Navasardyan considers it natural and says, “This is a normal phenomenon in the post-election period”.

According to surveys, 34.3 percent of the population assesses the state of the economy as bad, and 32.3 percent as too bad.

24.5 percent is satisfied with the RA President’s work, 26 percent with the government’s work, and 18 percent with the work of the National Assembly. On this occasion, Aram Navasardyan noted, “During the surveys carried out since 2006, RA President’s work with positive results has always been on the first place, and during the last two stages the government’s work is assessed a little more positive”.

According to surveys, the following ministers have received the highest political assessment: Armen Amiryan, and Davit Tonoyan-3.4, Vigen Sargsyan-3.2, Artsvik Minasyan-3.1.

The lowest rates were recorded by Vardan Aramyan – 2.7, and Artem Asatryan – 2.5.

According to surveys, 80.6 percent of respondents positively assessed Karen Karapetyan’s policy during March, and 71.7 percent during July.

Aram Navasardyan said that the prime minister’s ratings have dropped by about 10 percent, then clarified: “We must understand that this index was registered in July, in the absence of a campaign. But 71.7 percent is also a high score, and there is no other figure in the political field that has such a high rating”. 63.4 percent trust Karen Karapetyan, while expectations from the government have dropped almost twice.
