Secretary of the “Yelq” faction Gevorg Gorgisyan expected, that the Special Investigation Service would eventually dismiss the case. We are talking about a criminal case in relation to documents, found in a garbage can, called “Zibileaks”. According to the SIS, the case was dismissed due to the absence of the corpus delicti.
Let us remind, that the “Yelq” bloc submitted a report on “crime” to law enforcement bodies, attaching scandalous documents found in a garbage can, which, according to the opposition bloc, testify, that the vote buying by the ruling Republican Party on May 14 elections of Yerevan Council of Elders has been systematic and centralized.
Gevorg Gorgisyan does not agree with the explanation of the SIS. He believes that there were sufficient grounds for crime detection.
“The video recorded on that day is lost, in which it was obvious that the papers were removed from that headquarter. Computers of the headquarter have disappeared. I can’t understand, how could those tracelessly disappear. And the computers were full of information, it could be possible to restore the true picture”, Gevorg Gorgisyan told Aravot.am, adding, that there are many unanswered questions, whereas they could have helped to detect the crime.
“Yelq” has not yet received official notification on the dismissal of the case, of course, there were no discussions either yet, but Gevorg Gorgisyan thinks they will appeal.
