“Heritage” party leader Raffi Hovannisian and Vice President Armen Martirosyan are currently not in Armenia. Raffi Hovannisian is in Western Armenia for several days. They held meetings with the parliamentary and extra-parliamentary forces for the enlargement of the opposition after the party congress. What specific forces they have met and what agreements they have reached will be announced in September. But the fact that such meetings have been held, was approved by the board member Susanna Muradyan.
Aravot.am asked Naira Zohrabyan, a member of the “Tsarukyan” alliance, whether “Heritage” has met them, and reached any agreements. She answered, “No, there is no agreement. There was no meeting or discussion with the “Heritage” party or with any other political force. We have repeatedly stated that any cooperation can be only in the case of one common political agenda. As political experience has shown, end in itself unions cannot solve any problems. We are ready to cooperate with any political force on this or that issue, where there are common views and approaches. There has been no discussion with “Heritage” on any issues yet”.
Naira Zohrabyan said that in general there are discussions around specific political agenda: “We are not familiar with their political agenda. Besides, taking into consideration Armen Martirosyan’s words that Raffi Hovannisian is not in the republic, it is not clear whom and in what format the “Heritage” meets”.
