On August 13, as of 15:00, 83 rescuers, a total of 122 servicemen of Ararat military unit of the Armenian Armed Forces, 60 policemen, 50 forestry workers, as well as residents of Urtsadzor village took part in fire extinguishing works in “Khosrov” Forest State Reserve.
As the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) reports, as of 14:00, one helicopter of the Armenian Defense Ministry’s aviation was involved in the firefighting works in the forest.
To remind, on August 12, at 12:30 local time, Armenia’s MES received an alert according to which fire burst out in “Khosrov” Forest State Reserve, 20 km north to Urtsadzor village of Ararat region, swallowing predominantly grass area.
