Koti administrative head: ‘Residents of Azerbaijani border villages leaving their villages panic-stricken during border shooting’

Koti village in Noyemberyan region of Tavush has 38 km border with Azerbaijan. During the 1990s’ war, there were 40 victims in the village.

Fragments of different types of Azerbaijani cartridges, bullets, are stored in Koti’s administrative head Felix Melikyan’s office, which was found in the village after the Azerbaijani bombardment and firing.Melikyan said, that Azerbaijanis realize that they have lost in the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict, and Armenians have won. We asked, what the basis of this belief is. He said the basis is the Azerbaijanis’ behavior. We asked him to speak more specifically about the Azerbaijanis’ behavior.Melikyan said, that when there are shootings on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, residents of the Azerbaijani villages of Ghazakh region neighboring Koti leave their villages panic-stricken.
