Economic activity index in June 2017 in Artsakh amounted to 113.9 percent, compared to the one in June 2016, to 142.5 percent compared to May 2017, and 115.0 percent from January to June 2017 (increasing), compared to the one in January-June 2016.
The gross domestic product of the NKR in January-June 2017 amounted to 102.2 billion drams, compared to 87.7 billion drams in January-June 2016. The GDP growth rate was 14.9 percent, index-deflator was 101.4 percent.
In January-June 2017, the GDP per capita in current prices was 699.8 thousand drams, 1444.2 US dollars, or 1333.3 euros.
About 6.0 percentage of the 14.9 percent increase recorded by the GDP provided the mining industry and exploitation of open mines, 2.6 percentage ensured the financial and insurance activities, 2.4 percentage- the construction, 2.1 percentage- electricity, gas, steam, and air conditioning supply.
