On July 28, when Rudik Grigoryan, a resident of Voskevan, was harvesting with his grain combine in the border village of Voskevan in Noyemberyan region of Tavush, Azerbaijani armed forces opened fire on the combine from the firing points located in Gushchi-Ayrum village of Gazakh region. The combine operator and the villagers working in the field managed to crawl out from there.

Voskevan administrative head Seryoja Aleksanyan said that the bombardment left a total of 3.5 hectares of wheat field belonging to 3 villagers unharvested. Half of the field was burnt because of Azerbaijani firing. The commission formed in Voskevan made a report on the burned field and the remaining unharvested wheat. The staff of Tavush administration came to Voskevan, made a report to be submitted to the government. Red Cross agents also observed the situation.

In the village of Koti, near Voskevan, as a result of Azerbaijani firing, 1,3 hectares of the wheat field was left unharvested. Felix Melikyan, the administrative head of Koti, said that 1.3 hectares belong to a resident of the village. A report was made on this unharvested field.
