Aravot.am asked its readers what they believe is the reason for the increase in violence in the recent period.
The survey participants had 5 options: “impunity atmosphere”, “unbearable heat”, “it has always existed, but not much has been written on it”, “there is no growth, these are usual cases”, “I do not know the reason, but it’s already too much”.
So, 5 percent of respondents consider that there is no growth: those are usual cases, 11 percent do not know what the reason is, but say it’s too much. 14 percent of the respondents believe that the increase in cases of violence is because of the unbearable heat,18 percent think that it has always existed, but not much has been written on it. And the majority of the respondents, 52 percent, associates the increase in violence with impunity atmosphere.
