The emigration lasting for already dozens of years and emptying the villages of Armenia, bypasses Yenokavan. The thing is that the grandchildren of the people of Yenokavan living abroad have decided to make investments in their fatherland and develop the village, make it a touristic centre.
The village undergoes an immigration currently. They come from France, Iran, the Russian Federation. The youth assures if all their projects come to life, the number of the tourists will not solely double in a short period of time, but become 5 times more.
One of the obstacles of developing tourism here is the funding of the programs, nonetheless.
Yenokavan resident, who should also take part in the development of the infrastructures should pledge his house to take a loan from the bank, however, it is not estimated above 5000 USD, regardless of what value it represents.
