The relative calm established across the Line of Contact between Nagorno Karabakh and Azerbaijan over the past weeks maintained from August 20-26, Defense Army of the Artsakh (Nagorno Karabakh) Republic reported in its weekly bulletin.
According to the release, the Azerbaijani forces broke the ceasefire around 160 times in the indicated period, firing over 2,000 shots toward the Armenian positions form firearms of different calibres.
Defense Army frontline units continued the combat guard in accordance with the set order and controlled the operative-tactical situation on the frontline, the release added.
