‘Let him not lie, it is a shame’: Suzan Simonyan to chief of police

October 02,2017 14:32

The member of “Founding Parliament”, Suzan Simonyan insists that the police brought forth the fake alarm on bombs to break up their demonstration on Armenia-Diaspora conference day. As stated by her, the Chief of Police, Hovhannes Kocharyan, lied during the press conference in the previous day saying as if they were not able to find the person giving a fake alarm. “Let him not lie, it is a shame, such thing is not possible, it is even ridiculous. They hear the phone conversations of all our activists, they are able to organize all that, eavesdrop, follow, they are able to do everything but suddenly not able to find the number of that telephone call, it is ridiculous. They are lying. They have intentionally made up that fake alarm, it is impossible it was real and they were not able to find, if they find the person giving the alarm, I will believe in what they are saying that time”, told Suzan Simonyan.

Let us remind you that Hovhannes Kocharyan had told – they had received an alarm, constituting that a demonstration would be organized with the help of explosive packages and the attention of the public would be invited on that issue, and the police was obliged to check out, but nothing was found by personal check up, the alarm was fake. He has also assured that was not a way to hinder the event.

According to Suzan Simonyan, she has managed to open the photograph of Jirayr Sefilyan solely during the demonstration: “Yes, opening Jirayr Sefilyan’s photograph in the square is an act equal to a bomb, that is why they pushed me with a few men, took me and threw me into a car and received a call implying – do not take her to detention, leave her anywhere.”
