Narine Tukhikyan: ‘Mr. Amiryan told – no, ‘Khavarum (eclipse)’ will not re-open’

The director of Hovhannes Tumanyan Museum, Narine Tukhikyan was asked whether she had asked about the future of the exhibition named “Khavarum (eclipse)” dedicated to the victims of Stalin’s dictatorship banned by the Ministry of Culture reasoned as being politicized and not having acquired an initial agreement beforehand, inasmuch as the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Armenia, Armen Amiryan, had visited the museum to get acquainted with renovation issues at place in days.  

“I asked the minister whether “Khavarum” exhibition will re-open, and although the minister had visited by other occasion, Mr. Amiryan replied – no. I did not ask about the reasons anymore, because I did not see sense in it…”, informed Ms. Tukhikyan.

Aravot.am will try to receive an explanation from the ministry. Let us remind you that “Khavarum” exhibition opened on October 4, as stated by Narine Tukhikyan, unveiled Armenian riff-raff. The exhibition was also revealing how Mustafa Kemal and Lenin-Stalin’s Bolshevik interests against Armenia and Armenian people coincided, how Armenian Bolsheviks became the selfless implementers of anti-Armenian policy.
