This year marks the 25th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Armenia and the Great Britain. On this occasion Aravot.am asked the Ambassador of the United Kingdom to the Republic of Armenia, Judith Farnworth what impressive episodes she would point out during her 2 years of mission. The Ambassador replied that her memories are mostly connected with travelling in Armenia and visiting the beautiful sights of our country. “As regards the diplomatic relations between the Republic of Armenia and the United Kingdom, let me mention that a bigger willingness for cooperation is noticed by the governments of the two countries recently”, noted Ms. Farnworth.
The Ambassador pointed out two more episodes – the Minister of State for Europe and the Americas had visited Armenia lately, who had had meetings with the most high-ranking leadership of the Republic of Armenia, due to which Armenia was given an opportunity to use “Good Governance Fund” and the second was that a trade representative was appointed in Armenia.
