The majority of the Armenian population does not believe in anything – neither from larger – philosophic perspective, nor from narrower – everyday life perspective. For example, when our national football team loses, they say – “the game is sold”, when it wins, they say – “the game is bought”. When The Constitutional Court makes a decision to the detriment of the opposition, they say – “well, it is clear, they are the marionettes of the authorities, they will do as Baghramyan 26 orders.” When the same Court adopts a decision in favor of the opposition, the conclusion is the following: “everything is agreed, they have agreed with each other to yield the opposition in this matter.” If the opposition figure becomes an MP, s/he is declared to be the “authority’s project” immediately, when s/he does not become, they say – “s/he was not brave enough to enter into struggle.”
In the conditions of an overall “misbelief”, one can “feed” people with any fairy-tale, only for it to correspond to the limited, bourgeois mentality – “We also cheat and are being cheated.”
The young people were struggling against electricity price increase – everything is organized to distract attention from the “above (authorities – ed.)”. The debate evolves on the bill on preventing domestic violence, it is a fake agenda, they draw the attention of the people on this secondary issue on purpose. By the way, a new wave is to be expected – this time against girls’ vaccination, inasmuch as the vaccination, as it should be assumed, also directly hits on the “Armenian genes”, and about it they will tell that it is a purposefully imported issue, about which they speak to hide the issues of the primary importance.
Students are struggling to retain the right to military deferment, it is again a “trolling”, in reality the government wants to give Karabakh to the Turks, and raises other topics to make it “unnoticed”. In this case, it is not important who is right and who is wrong in this debate, the unique, Armenian version of the “conspiracy theory” is important pursuant to which all are deceitful, hypocrites, and pharisees, all except the one who is thinking this way. But if everything is secondary and unimportant, then what is important? That the country is being destroyed and there is a need for an urgent change of power? But the ears of people have been worn out by listening to these empty resolutions throughout 25 years. It is impossible to attract public attention through them.
