“We have to admit that not everyone is happy about this agreement. We see what kind of reactions there are and what kind of problems there will be during its implementation. We saw that no problem has been set before us by the official position, but later they began to campaign against the Armenian people and Armenia through the experts under their control. We follow it and see what is going on in the Russian media”, said Chairman of YSU Centre for European Studies Arthur Ghazinyan at the National Assembly hearings on the “Armenia-EU Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership”.
He said that it was strange for him why the Russian Foreign Minister responded to that, if there is the EAEU which is a competent body that could declare that this agreement does not hinder the EAEU commitments. Armenia has exercised its sovereign right, and the only competent body that could express an opinion on this agreement was EAEU, where the Republic of Armenia is a member. “Internal problems that will arise, we all speak about the 5th column operating in Armenia, we all seek, but cannot find, I have an inner conviction that during the implementation of this agreement this column will show up”.
