Nearly 20 days ago, two Russian deserter servicemen serving in Armenia were arrested in the village of Lusadzor in Ijevan region. Head of Lusadzor community Vardan Sardaryan said, that one of the deserters is a resident of Sverdlovsk, the other of Rostov. He said that the servicemen had spent the night in the administrative district of Lusadzor in a former canteen near the interstate highway, which they had turned into a shelter covering with shrubs and leaves.
They had headed to the Lusadzor forest, where they had got acquainted with two cattlemen Lusadzor residents, and had lunch with them, introducing themselves as Russian tourists. The two Lusadzor families had hosted the Russian servicemen wearing civilian clothes over their military uniforms for two days in their houses.
Vardan Sardaryan said that the military deserters had map with them, and had tried to leave Armenia through Noyemberyan twice, but they had failed.
