“I am sorry that after 25 years the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict has not been resolved yet”, NATO Deputy Secretary General Rose Gottemoeller told at today’s meeting with YSU students. She expressed confidence that the settlement of the Artsakh conflict will have a positive impact on the stability of the entire region.
“We welcome the fact that efforts are being made in the diplomatic field. We hope that in the near future they will yield results. I can say that NATO hopes to see a new stage in resolving the conflict”.
NATO Deputy Secretary General positively assessed the recent meeting of Foreign Ministers in Vienna. “It is very good. The fact that the United States is involved in the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairing with the Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and the French side is very positive”.
