Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia Karen Nazaryan assured that it is a thankless task to predict when the EU-Armenia agreement ratification process will be completed.
Stepan Grigoryan, President of the “Globalization and Regional Research Analytical Center” NGO asked Mr. Nazaryan when the process would be completed at “The Role of The Civil Society in Developing Public Policy Agenda And. Ensuring Accountable Governance in Armenia” public discussion.
Mr. Nazaryan answered: “The agreement has four sides. The Agreement sets out the provisions relating to the ratification process. We intend to do it quite quickly, there are instructions for that, and the process has already begun. Predicting clear dates is a thankless task. The problem relates to the discussion both in the Constitutional Court and the National Assembly. Now I will refrain from saying certain things about specific dates, but in April-May we will be able to complete this process”.
