Armenian member of the Turkish People’s Democratic Party, Karo Pailan has been attacked in the Turkish parliament.
According to demokrathaber.org, Pailan called for Finance Minister Naji Aghbal to examine the ties President Rejep Tayyip Erdogan’s and Prime Minister Binali Yildirim’s family members have with the offshore companies on the Isle of Man.
In response, the head of the Turkish ruling party, Ilknur Ingoz, said: “You are the last person to teach morality in the parliament, but you are not even that. I would like to specifically mention this. You are not even the last person in the parliament”.
“Haughty!”, Pailan responded, after which Ingoz stood up and headed towards him.
The session was interrupted because of the tension.
