US President Donald Trump appears to be a genius. At least, he thinks he is. How does Trump justify his genius? Very simple: since he has achieved great success in business, as well as has been a television superstar, and then became the US President, thus he is a genius. But it is obvious that Trump is not the first successful businessman and not the first star in the history of the United States. It is also worth mentioning that before Trump, this wonderful country had 44 presidents. Were they all geniuses? (I know there is a difference between the meanings of the English word “genius” and “hantchar” in Armenian, but linguistic nuances are not so important here). Current US president has decided to speak out about his extraordinary merits in response to an American journalist Michael Wolff’s book, where the author proves that the US President is not endowed with high intelligence, reads little and is not absolutely inquisitive. Wolff’s book “Fire and Fury” was released yesterday, but some episodes had already been known to the public before that.
And we must state that the genius and even the talent of a statesman are revealed through the effectiveness of his steps. If we look at the last two votes of the UN Security Council on Jerusalem and Iran issues (on December 18 and January 5), when even the US allies opposed American initiatives, one can assume that these initiatives were not genius. Such a “loud” epithet perhaps cannot be applied to the idea of constructing a 18 billion dollar wall on the US-Mexico border either.
Of course, the current US administration also has good, right ideas, which are, in my opinion, the “green card” lottery suspension or tax reform. As any world leader, Trump has done and will do a lot of right and wrong steps. But I do not think he is a genius. Mozart is the genius, whose each work is a masterpiece. However, the advantage of the American system is that in 3 years or (which is less probable) in 7 years Tramp will no longer be president. And for example, Putin is eternal.
