Turkish army records its first loss in the frameworks of “Oil Branch” military operation in Syria. According to Turkish “Haberler” media group, 1 soldier was killed in the result of the armed clashes with “People’s Protection Unit” of YPG military wing of Kurdistan Workers’ Party on January 22.
The information has been confirmed by the Chief of General Staff of Turkish Armed Forces.
Let us remind you that the “Syrian Democratic Forces” grouping which enjoys the support of official Ankara has invaded the Syrian Afrin city under the control of the Syrian Kurds with the support of Turkish air force.
The operation is called “Oil Branch.”
