“If the American-Armenian community made a timely decision to implement all its potential and skills to support Trump, to get him interested in Armenian issues, and eventually, ramp the promise of recognition of the Armenian Genocide, then today one of the still unfulfilled promises of Trump would be Armenian Genocide recognition”, Suren Manukyan, a genocide expert, expressed this conviction to “Aravot”.
According to him, whatever the US Presidents promised and did not do, would have been possible with Trump: “His previous steps show that even the most scandalous promises are fulfilled. Tramp is implementing his pre-election program step-by-step. Even the issues that seem to give rise to conflicts are written in his pre-election program. Another matter was that people did not believe that the program could have been implemented”.
