Answering to the question given by the journalists on addressing Ilham Aliyev’s announcement on returning Yerevan and Zangezur and the response of the international community, the Ambassador of France to Armenia, Jonathan Lacôte, noted: “I have heard, I am familiar with that announcement which was succeeded by the announcement of the official French side. France has expressed its clear-cut opinion on that announcement, which is a definite and not equivocal one. I would advise you to make a reference to the French announcement made on that occasion, whereby France condemns any announcement hindering the negotiation process.”
