EU supports new platform for Armenian designers

March 06,2018 16:02

A group of young designers from the Fashion and Design Chamber of Armenia, together with the Business Club for Impact, have created the “Business Club for Fashion and Design” with the support of the EU4Business Support to Small and Medium-sized Enterprises Development in Armenia (SMEDA) project.

The club will serve as a platform for the development of the fashion and design sector through the introduction of new opportunities and tools and the enhancement of the capacities of the target groups, namely fashion designers, start-ups and operating entrepreneurs from the sector. It will also be open to young individuals looking to enter and develop within the fashion and design sectors.

A set of activities has been planned and will be implemented over the course of this one-year project. More information on the club’s programme and how to become a member can be found here.

The EU4Business SMEDA project supports the improvement of the business and investment climate for SMEs in Armenia. It aims to strengthen the private sector, support SME coordination mechanisms, and foster links between research institutions and the private sector, as well as providing access to finance for SMEs.
