In response to a citizen of the Republic of Armenia, Aram Manukyan’s public offer, National Assembly MP Nikol Pashinyan, leader of the oppositional “Yelq” faction met with the civil society at Liberty Square and discussed further steps and actions to fight against Serzh Sargsyan’s reproduction.
The MP was welcomed in the square. “Let you be happy, all my best wishes to you”, one of the participants of the meeting told Nikol Pashinyan.
“I think the situation is developing so that the Republican Party will nominate Serzh Sargsyan for Prime Minister. It cannot happen only in one case, if there is public pressure, because there is no other factor that hinders it. This is a stage where the public should have the opportunity to express its position, I think that the political force, which, as a result of its activity, has taken a leading role in the election results, should give that opportunity”, said Nikol Pashinyan.
According to him, discussions in the oppositional “Yelq” party are ongoing and they will give answers to all questions within a week. According to him, when the discussions are over, their decision will be clear.
