Serzh Sargsyan’s becoming Prime Minister predetermined

March 21,2018 13:41

“Serzh Sargsyan’s becoming Prime Minister was predetermined by the adoption of a new Constitution”, linguist Narine Dilbaryan expressed such an opinion at a press conference.

“When Serzh Sargsyan announced that he was not going to become a prime minister, it was either just a sudden accident, or he said that under the influence of the moment, sensuously. But we all know that sensuality has no place in politics. In this century the power price is too high, and politicians are ready to change the constitution, but not to give up power. From this we can conclude that Serzh Sargsyan does not have a trustworthy person, whom he will be able to hand over the power”, she said.

Political scientist Stepan Safaryan agreed with the idea that Serzh Sargsyan’s becoming Prime Minister was predetermined, and said:

“Serzh Sargsyan will become Prime Minister. He just has not announced about it earlier. If I were in his place, I would not announce it to the public earlier either. Besides, it could happen that he would announce about it and then the Kremlin suddenly changed its decision. In short, do not wait for another outcome in April.

Referring to the results of the presidential elections in Russia, Narine Dilbarian said, that it was clear from the very beginning that Putin would get a crushing number of votes. The only concern is that when talking about Russia’s capacity, he focuses more on the military side. Surprisingly, Russia has recently become more tolerant towards Azerbaijan and Turkey. Thus, it turns out that we face an uncertain and dangerous reality where we cannot do anything”, Narine Dilbaryan concluded her speech.
