Turkey has successfully tested out “Bozdoğan” and “Gökdoğan” short and medium-range missiles of own production. The testing took place at the Turkish Sinop Military Training Center.
The Turkish Center for Scientific and Technical Research (TUTBIKAT) and Turkish Defense Industry Department have been involved in missile production.
At the end of 2018, the next stage of testing of these missiles will be carried out, which will be released towards moving targets.
The missiles were previously presented at the “IDEF 2017” military fair in Istanbul.
If «Gökdoğan» missile hits the target only on a short distance, “Bozdoğan” hits on a large distance. It has a “Smart” self-control system.
It is planned that the aforementioned missiles will be handed over to the Turkish Armed Forces in 2020.
