“We are discontented because of the arms supply from Russia to Azerbaijan. The Russian officials have announced about the decrease of the number of supply,” informed the Deputy Defense Minister, the President of State Committee on Military Industry of the Ministry of Defence, David Pakhchanian during a press conference in the Ministry of Defence.

He mentioned that currently, the military-technological cooperation with Russia is in a positive process. “Whatever was envisaged within the frameworks of the first loan from Russia has been fully supplied. It is a serious part of the purchased weapons. There is an agreement in place to continue the cooperation,” informed David Pakhchanian.

He also referred to the US sanctions on the Russian companies of military production, saying: “The sanctions are an issue, but we have a problem of ensuring our security and will act out of our interests. We are going to cooperate with other countries as well. Now good relations are set with Serbia. The same refers to China and Poland as well. There is a tendency of developing our relations.”
