“Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement” signed between the EU and Armenia was adopted by the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia with a large consensus. 95 MPs univocally voted in favor of the Agreement.
The Parliament then discussed the draft of the alterations to be made in the decision “On Confirming the Rules of Order of the National Assembly”, prepared by Galust Sahakyan, Karine Achemyan, Felix Tsolakyan and a group of Republican MPs.
Let us remind you that pursuant to this draft the Republicans were proposing to publicize the results of the hearings invited by the alliances or committees solely with the consent of the President of the Parliament. Meanwhile, during the discussion of the question within the commission, an agreement was acquired to alter the proposal and stipulate that the materials of the hearings can be publicized if the President of the Parliament is informed. The draft also proposes to empower the President of the Parliament with the right to invite hearings. It was not envisaged formerly.
