A member of the Republican Party of Armenia, Vahan Arsenyan, went to the platform during the rally and announced that he had worked as a leading specialist in the Shengavit Revenue Recruiting and Recruiting Department and has applied for resignation.
“Yelq” MP Ararat Mirzoyan said that the people have removed the devil from the well, but the Republicans want to steal that victory away: “They say the devil has several heads, but are we to remove those heads one by one? We have many other important tasks too: we need to build our state”.
Ararat Mirzoyan said that a political trade is taking place in Armenia yesterday and today: “Some persons meet others, make arrangements about positions, and come to ask for positions. Is not it clear that we are not here for just occupying positions and giving away positions? We want to change the system, we want to change the rules of the game, social relations, values. Do not even dare to think that we have defeated the devil to become a new devil for these people. We are the tool and the servant of our nation”.
Mirzoyan also addressed the Republicans and other forces saying: “You have one honourable way out: you must vote for Nikol Pashinyan. Any other manifestation will definitely be your disgrace, any other transaction, any other result of the voting, which will be on May 1 in the National Assembly, will be illegitimate, the people of Armenia will not accept it, moreover, this is very clear, I want everyone in the square, in their houses, in the parties, in the National Assembly to understand that another step but voting for Nikol Pashinyan will be against the Armenian statehood and will be a state treason. The Armenian statehood, the Armenian system can be saved, created, built, developed only through one way: Nikol Pashinyan should become Prime Minister”.
