Canadian-Armenian actress Arsine Khanjian, who also participated in Nikol Pashinyan’s rally on April 27 in Vardanants Square in Gyumri, conveyed her greetings from Diaspora Armenians and congratulated the Armenian people.
“You tried to persuade us that the Diaspora should participate in Armenia’s survival and life course. We have always been convinced that we should participate, but we have not found enough ways to bring our participation in the right way. At least one of the ways that are right is that we will always support you and not make that change ourselves because today you won and brought change”.
She said that many Armenians living abroad are by Armenian citizens’ side. She noted that since independence the country has been led by fraud. “If oligarchs are called to be the power, I do not know, but fraud is what leads the country. You won that fraud”, said Arsine Khanjian, noting that Nikol Pashinyan gave direction, and the people managed to free themselves from fears.
She expressed gratitude to Nikol Pashinyan that he was able to bring people together and unite all Armenians without violent action.
