Zvartnots International Airport is working normally at the moment despite the fact the road leading to the airport has been blocked since Wednesday morning, Spokesperson for Armenia International Airports CJSC Gevorg Abrahamyan told Panorama.am.
He said all the flights are operated in line with the schedule, adding another issue is that the passengers cannot reach their flights in time or those arriving in Armenia have to walk from the airport to reach their destinations.
As the airport’s official website reports, only the Yerevan-Istanbul flight scheduled for departure at 10:40 has been cancelled, while the Moscow-Yerevan flight has been delayed.
A group of employees of the airport joined the ongoing protests in Armenia for an hour, returning to work afterwards.
